Apartment Life Comic Strip – Meet the Tekkies Family
First part of comic strip is released on the German site Die Sims 2, but still not on the US site. Click the thumb to enlarge and read the translation (it might not be faithful) here:
- Peter and Mary rent a new apartment in the heart of town in Belladona Cove.
- Both of them are looking for new job opportunities in the advertisement section of newspapers, so they can pay for the rent.
- When Mary comes home, the apartment is already furnished. But where does the money come from?
- Because Peter spent all his money for the furniture, he couldn’t pay for the rent.
- Peter can only manage the situation and get some money for the rent after begging in a nearby park.
- Peter and Mary celebrate their first payment for rent playing console games in the evening.
Well, as you can see, the story is a bit lame… but pay close attention to screenshots! (See Die Sims 2 and click the pictures to enlarge.) There are shown some new skins but also new paintings, spiral stairs, new fence, hairstyles and objects.
