The Sims 3: New Official Video (What Is The Sims 3?) & GameSpot Preview
The official The Sims 3 site has posted a new video, in which you’ll see the making of the game and Sims, and see some videos with actors. Watch it here!
Also, GameSpot has posted a new preview of The Sims 3. Most of the information is not very new, but there are a few points that I’d like to highlight.
- Sims can again throw a party, but in The Sims 3 you can choose from many more types such as political fundraiser, which can use Sims in political careers “in the hopes of raising some campaign donations along his political career aspirations”.
- You don’t have to repeatedly use the same social interaction to build a relationship with other Sims. Also, the speech balloons have many new graphical icons that tell you about the conversation as well as with what you Sims agree or not.
- Sims can now demonstrate in front of SimCity hall in the center of town. They will wave with picket signs and hollering.
- There will be many more clothing options, including not only shirts, pants, and one-piece suits, but also hats, glasses, shoes, and other accessories (like wristwatches, bracelets, and other types of jewelry).
- The game will probably ship with only one neighborhood.
