HannahSpring’s Diary: On Why I Love Gilbert Jacquet
Few months back, I wrote a short post about Gilbert Jacquet and his mother, Denise. I love them both. They’re French. They bake yummy cakes. They look poor, but don’t know how rich they actually are. That’s why I love them as game characters.
When I was writing In my story about about Desiderata Valley (I do plan to finish it, but I’ve been having some trouble on Sims 2 Community forums… that’s a long story, though), Gilbert becomes a werewolf and basically he’s a troubled person. He tries to find love on every corner and in any bed he can find (yeah, really!) but then something cracks inside him when he meets Natasha Una. Yes, she’s another sweetheart of my game.
But let’s get back to Gilbert – I’ve always found him quite funny because he doesn’t seem to recognize his real qualities. In my story, he inherited J’Adore Bakery after his father. The problem is that his death traumatized him so much that he denies to learn anything about baking and owning a business. He just doesn’t know what he wants and that’s why he’s so much into girls. But well, Natasha is just another story.
Anyway, here are some cute pictures of them. What do you think, do they make a nice couple? Well, they’re not together yet, but I think some sparkles are going to burst soon.
You might also notice that I haven’t made any big makeovers. I really like my game with all that Maxis-look recently. Maybe it’s just because when you make Finds everyday, you find that you don’t need that much stuff in your own game.
