Star Trek Parody Video & Tons of TS3 Pictures
I’m literally rolling on the floor laughing. This is the best. Video. Ever! It’s so so so funny, I just love the humor of Maxis! Notice the voice actually speaks Simlish. Oh, pure fun! Maxis should make more of videos like this. Any ideas how they made the teleport effect? Do you think it will be somehow included in the game?
(BTW I have no idea what’s wrong with the YouTube player, but it seems to be loading for a while. Give it some time till it appears. Or is that only my problem? Hmm.)

There seems to be pretty a lot of new dresses, I really like that. However, the new recolor tool seems totally awesome to me. I’m really amazed with it, because it’s something I wanted to haver ever since The Sims 1. I’m not sure, but it seems that you’ll be able to layer the textures, which would be really nice, I think.
I’m still confused by the new menu, but I think the confuseness will get lost when I put my hands on the game. I’m very impressed by the new terrains. I didn’t use them too often in The Sims 2, but now you can also choose from two shapes while each of them comes in two sizes. The opacity can now be changed, so I will be finally able to make the perfect lawn for my Sims. It will not be too green, not too drain – it will be just in my taste. So, kind of perfect I guess. 
Another thing that fascinates me are the new babies. Take a look at the Grim Reaper pictures, there’s a baby icon. So cute! If I was a Sim, I would be the family type, haha. But what I was trying to say was that look – it is now wrapped in white sheets. How cute is that? Oh, and notice the phone on the wall. I like it much better than the basic phone in The Sims 2.

The more I see the more I start to want the game. It just hurts me to think of leaving behind my old Sims. After three years and ten generations, you tend to get a little attached, you know? Haha.

But somehow, the sims look too round in the face until now. or is it just me?
the Sims 2 sims had more defined faces and jaws… at least that’s what it seems like to me. But I’m still really excited to try it, especially since custom content will hopefully spring up not soon after the game is released.

This game will be the death of me. I have to study for an SAT that is four days after it comes out. I don’t know how I will manage to survive, considering I’ll probably be playing TS3 24/7, haha.

I loved the TS3 Star Trek video as well. And the teleport *will* be included in the game. It’s one of the lifetime awards your sims can earn.
