Random Bug (?) or Maxis Trying to Insult Me
I’m really having a lot of fun with The Sims 3. As I said, it’s not all perfect, but mostly I think I like it better than The Sims 2. But I think I still need to play more, which is honestly, quite hard, because I have to do other stuff than play the game all day. I wish I could, though. 
Anyway, I’ve been messing around with myself Sims a little. I must say it’s quite fun to play for yourself, but I think I’ll delete myself Sim really soon, because I get bored with myself in the game quite easily.
Yesterday, however, the game really amused me. Or maybe even insulted me a little. I know I’m not a super-thin supermodel when it comes to my body, but I’m definitely not this fat:
It happened all of the sudden! Hannah just woke up one morning and she had like 30 pounds more than the day before. It wasn’t that bad before. Maybe the game just tries to tell me that I should finally start jogging this year, because I feel very lazy recently. And this is how I’ll end up if I won’t start soon.

I also bought a fish. His name is Monty. I hope he’ll bring me some luck.

Yeah, happened to the first sim I made. She was all skinny, and then when I go to play her a few sim days later she’s huge.
It’s the story progression thing. The game chooses a few random sims and basically completely modifies their body type. :S

This is a “feature” of EA’s. Pescado’s awesomemod fixes this problem (among many others).

Huh this hasn’t happened to me and I’m sure you’re right Violet but that seems weird that something like that would happen to the active sim… By the way, I love your self-sim Hannah!

I hope that Monty will bring you some luck as well, because there appears to be a robber outside of your window! Haha. I’m sorry about the rapid weight gain thing. If it’s any consolation, your sim is still as pretty as ever, even with the few extra pounds.

WHOAA!!!! Thats crazy stuff… mean game…and how it could be put on overnight is alittle scary. Dont want it to happen in real life..eep
