Spring4Sims – The Best Finds, Downloads & Hints for Your Sims

And now for something totally cute: Clutter-a-holic brings some converted objects from TS3 to TS2. I’m sure you’re going to like them, because what else can I say than they’re really aweseome? I love to usem them, especially the flowers. I’m not really sure about the toys, I don’t think they there’re available in TS3 Buy Mode. (But I think I downloaded some of them as objects from MTS yesterday). Oh, and there’s more than just pictured above. So, go and take a look!

Just as the title says, this bench and bus stop are two objects. So in case you feel like changing the bench, you can. However, I really like the new one by Maylin. Both objects come with recolors.

Any green-thumbs here? If so, count with me. I separate all kinds of waste to feel better about the future generations. Wasn’t the Sims 2 all about having new generations of Sims? They’d better start separating the waste, too. Download the bins here!

Floral prints, especially those romantic ones, are very popular these days. I always find this style very American (although I’ve never been to America), and if I wanted to find a red-hair girl wearing clothes like these, I guess I’d go to Texas. If I was trying to find some for my Sims-girls, I wouldn’t go anywhere but to Ros Sims.

There’s a lot going on at Nocturnal Sims, but nothing that will make you unhappy. There are many new things to download! Personal favorites: Social Bunny suit, facial hair and eyeshadows. Make sure to take a look.

As funny as it sounds, today I felt really lucky that I’ve been doing TS3 finds every once a while. This is not a TS3 finds site, and it will never be, but since I hate bookmarking (or in fact, I overuse this tool in my browser–but for other kind of content), my tiny TS3 finds really made me a big favor this weekend.

I still haven’t got to installing TS3 downloads too much. In fact, I installed my first sets only yesterday, mainly because I didn’t feel like messing with all of it. At this point, I kind of missed my good old TS2 where I knew everything about custom content. Now everything feels so new.

Except some Pegy’s and Rose’s hairs who don’t look good in blond colors, everything works really great. I also installed some Mango Sims’ objects, which look really perfect. It’s really funny to notice that Rose’s hairs don’t look as good in TS3 as they looked in TS2. However, I changed my opinion about Pegy’s meshes now, but I think they look much better due to the recoloring system in TS3. Finally I can have the perfect shades of brown or blond.

One thing that bothered me were recolors that were included in the .rar files with Rose’s hairs and Mango Sims’ objects. Luckily, you don’t need to install them to make the meshes work. It seems like the game assigns some default textures for new content. Yay! It saves me a lot of time, because installing .Sims3Pack files takes the whole eternity (anyone knows why?). And I like to choose my own paterns, too.

Now I’m heading to download some custom content by Fresh-Prince (he released an awesome Bugatti Veyron car, did you see it?) and some new paintings by Sims Art Gallery. I really need some, because the game is very limited in art. I really love their food paintings, especially these hot chocolate cups paintings (ok, I know the title says coffee, but since I prefer hot chocolate, I see it everywhere).

Oh, and if you asked me, Sims Arts Gallery is a prototype of site with easy navigation, perfect looks and good access to everything. My new favorite.

There’s a new lips set at Newsea and it comes in 5 colors. It look quite real but very natural at the same time, probably because the lower lip is not symmetric.

Liana’s guest creator Sims2Fan has created a set of three new casuals for teen girls. They’re typical Liana’s glam-rock clothes, but I really think they look nice.

Fansee is not only getting us some nice pictures of True Blood characters in PJs, but actually creates some nice muppet-inspired clothes. Two sets consits of three nice t-shirts with either long pants, or “small” black pants.
