Back Cover & Four World Adventures Pictures
I just come home, finally, what a long day it has been. I was happy to find out there are some new pictures from World Adventures. As much as I don’t even have time to think about the new game, I can’t wait to put my hands on it.
However, seeing the pictures didin’t really make me happy. What’s wrong? I think you’ll find out yourself. Look at the next picture. What do you think of when you’re thinking about Paris? (Okay, I haven’t been there — yet — but I have my own imagination.) I think of romance, architecture, art, avant-garde, fashion, lots of fashion, lots of great bonbons, really–tons of them, of course things like Eiffel Tower, history, cinematography… oh, and baguettes, red wine and pancakes (or rather crapês). I just can’t see anything of this in the pictures. Sorry, my dear EA Games, I can’t.
But let’s hold our breath for a few more days. I still think that France is a little incomplete and that’s why they’re not giving out too much. Or at least that’s what I hope for…

Such a romantic image of Paris ^^ What are really missing are pollution, noise and annoying people ^^;;
Seriously, the thing that makes me more worried is the house, that doesn’t at all look like a parisian house… or a French house, even if I can’t say I know everything about French architecture.
but you’re right, contrary to Egypt and China, Paris seems totally unfinished.
However, I’m excited about the new skills! Do you think there will also be new traits?

You’re right. Paris doesn’t look all that great. It looks like the town that came w/ the base game, Riverview I think it was called? I haven’t touched the game in months, so I can’t even remember what the town is called.^^

Paris is my favourite city in the whole world, and Sims 3 is my least favourite game in the whole world.

The scooter (l) ! The house with the eiffel tower in the background , it’s not really great . Because (i’m a french) you must delete this house by appartements … all towns around Paris are a lot of apartements ! And the first pictures … We must a lot of cars ! (if it’s the Champs-Elysées.

Lily: I think there will be three new traits: martial arts, culinary (this one is for France) and something with archeology and history I think. I can’t think of the third one ATM.
But you’re right, one thing I forgot to write about is the traffict at Champs-Elysées. EA Games created a very calm-looking Paris…
