I Found Them–The Perishers!
I’m not sure now who I should give my big thanks to, but somebody at his/her LiveJournal from the community posted a video of a song by The Perishers (it’s called Trouble Sleeping). I had no idea who this band was, but when the music video ended, I accidentally clicked one of their other songs–Sway–and then I realized it’s the same band that’s featured in The Sims 2 University EP!
This made me so happy! I’ve been trying to figure out the name of the band for a year, but with my annoying old PC, there was always something wrong with my game. I felt too tired of playing it, then the PC was broken or my sounds card didn’t work and the game refused to show me the track list for The Sims 2. So I ended up with a song I had no idea who its artist was.
Now I know the band is called The Perishers. Fi-na-lly!
Here’s my little bonus for everyone who loves the Simlish version just like me. You can download it as an .MP3–I converted it with iTunes. I have a few more Simlish songs in iTunes and I’m willing to convert most probably all of them, but now I really don’t have time for that. Maybe some other time.

Sway is my favorite Simlish song. It’s the reason I put most of the household stereos on College Rock. Thanks for posting this!

I’ve been listening to the simlish version of this song for the past 4 hours (yes, I know I’m crazy) and the more I listen to it the more I realise that my head makes out real words of what they’re singing. Even tho it’s pure nonsense I can make out a few words that sounds like Swedish ones… Anyway – thank you for writing this post. I’ve fallen in love with this song :3

Lina: Glad you like it. When I played The Sims 2, I always turned on the pop chanel and waited for this song to play. I have a few favorites, but this one is really great. And I didn’t know some of the words were so obvious.

Thank you for uploading this Mp3! I knew they were the Perishers (the band’s name was inside the Sims2 game Options/Audio menu), and this was one of my favorite songs since Uni EP – especially for romancing.
Now I download it and copy it to my Sims3 Custom Music folder, with great pleasure!

Well Omer and HannahSpring, I think now you’re my new best friends too hahaha! I really LOVE The Perishers since almost 3 years ago, I first listened to them on The O.C with Trouble Sleeping, and then I went immediately to the PC to download all their songs, their muisc is just amazing and soothing, I love Ola’s voice and the lyrics are so emotional and deeply. Yesterday, I was searching on the Internet who else likes this group and today I find you guys, cool! Hope to hear from you soon!
