And last but not least, it is recommended to update your game before installing the tool! It must be at least version 1.8 or higher. However, one of the comments here at S4S says that the game didn’t work even after patching. I’m not installing it just yet, especially because I’m exploring World Adventures now (I might release some pictures even today or this weekend), so let me know in the comments how the installation worked for you.

I have the patch installed and it’s running fine. I don’t have the expansion installed so I’m not sure if that would be an issue with the latest patch. Downside: traits are still missing

Kristina, which traits? You can’t choose traits for your Sims now? Or they disappeared from their Simology panel?

Both. It happened right after I installed the patch before this one. I googled the problem and a lot of people were saying it was a problem within the patch.

Oh shoot, I’ve just found out I have the same problem as well.
And I wanted to create a Sim so bad! Now I don’t know which traits I’m choosing. Well, when I click the empty space, I definitely choose a trait, but it just doesn’t appear in the panel. 
And I installed the patch already. Hope there will be a new one really soon.
Edit: I forgot to take out CC. I’ll try that out and see if that works. *crosses fingers*
Edit 2: They don’t seem to appear for in-game Sims, but they show in the Create a Sim now. Great, that’s better than nothing.

This is working just fine for me. I updated my game like it tells you to do and I played it like 30 minutes later and it worked perfectly. Create A World is so easy to use to.

I had the misfortune of having a toddler grow up (that’s how I discovered the problem) and I tried the cheat *testingcheatsenabled true* and it didn’t work. Hopefully they’re working on it. I don’t play the game anymore because I don’t want to grow my child up without any traits. It’s making me sad =(.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that testingcheatsenabled cheat doesn’t work, either. I hope the new patch will be released soon.
