Merry Christmas from The Sims 3 (a.k.a. Buy the Game–Now!)
I had just a few thoughts on the new Christmas video:
- I love Jingle Bells in Simlish!
- Why are there so many death scenes?
- I’m very surprised how much liberal EA Games is. Last time, it was Edward Cullen and his ‘friend’ kissing, now another kissing scene between girls. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against homosexuals, it’s just come to my mind.
- I like the first three scenes the most.

Im going to agree…this ad has some morbid tones, as well as liberal/mature themes. Im really open-minded and not offended, but it seems weird to see such content mixed with a Christmas theme. I always think of the holidays as an innocent family time of year.

I agree with both of you. The video is fine and doesn’t offend me, but for a Christmas theme, it’s a little too much, isn’t it?

Promoting underage sex and same-sex experimenting!! Shame, EA, shame.
I loved it, actually. It was a bit morbid for a TS3 holiday video, but it was funny and there were some cute things about it.

I love that it’s more liberal. Because I always thought that the original game had more mature content. Then the Sims 2 came. They kinda toned it down a bit with their ads and commercials. So finally with Sims 3 they brought back the liberal themes. But I have to agree with everyone, too much death scenes…it wasn’t even funny…

Seriously though, EA’s hopping on the shock tactics boat. I’m morbid as it is, but not everyone shares my love of morbidity.
