Gilbert Jacquet & Broken Parts
The patch seems to be working fine. *phew* The only thing I found it would make broken is the kitchen sink. It sort of splits the water in two parts. Well, you can’t get everything too perfect, right?
But guess who’s the lovely boy in the green shirt? Yay, my beloved Gilbert!
I don’t think I could live without him anymore. He’s my only true (ehm) love of my life. Yeah, I love every pixel about him. He’s just adorable.
The only problem is that I’m not in the game. (Well, I am, but I get fat everytime I lose some weight. My in-game body is a real tragedy, hehe.) This girl is one of the Altos. She’s cute, but not his final love. Gilbert’s traits are Hopeless romantic, Great Kisser, Natural Cook, Charismatic and Hot-headed. He was a Romance Sim in TS2, so I decided to keep his traits a bit more romance-oriented. I’m sure he’s enjoying it. At the same time, I always saw him as an impropriate jerk.
You might remember his mother, Denise. They owend J’Adore Bakery but since they can’t have any business, I’ve decided to make this a bit differently. Gilbert’s lifetime wish is to have 20 friends (he’s got 12 so far). Denise wants to have 50 wines worth at least §10,000. I’m almost done.
They both are wonderful. But honestly, I wish I could make them more real, more like they looked in the game I had before. Gilbert has a very tricky nose and jaw. In case you saw some remodelled Sims from TS2, please, let me know. I’d be looking forward to downloading some.
This is what I liked him the most, after a makeover and giving him some proper clothes. The green shirt is a bit less satured there. I need to find the perfect shade, too.
And of course, since they’re both French, I’m working on their visa points so they could buy a house in the small French village. BTW I took this picture because if you remember some promo-pictures of World Adventures, you could see the Eiffel Tower at the end of the river. Nah, no Eiffel Tower in the game, just in the promo-pics.
And this is one of my other fav Sims right now, Jason. I chose his name after the hero from Greek mythology (and because it sound very normal) who was the leader of Argonauts and tried to win the Golden Fleece. Long story short: he travled quite a lot, but unfortunatelly, he ended up alone and died tragically, because he left his wife Medea… we’ll see how Jason ends up, hopefully not that bad.
