Spring4Sims – The Best Finds, Downloads & Hints for Your Sims

Thank you EA Games for making this card! Isn’t it just super cute? Click to enlarge, download, print out and it’s ready to use. I think it’s really super cute. It’s like the perfect reunion of cutness : there’s the bunny, Plum & Bob, the pink flamingo and the gnome is in the waves swimming. I love this postcard!

BTW any idea why the HTML “title” tag states “Hello_Kitty_card”? Now that’s very interesting.

There seems to be some exciting news to come: EA has launched a Facebook event called Super Secret Surprise! x2.

The date has been changed! We have upgraded this Super Secret Surprise event to “Super Secret Surprise! x2″ because we have even bigger news to announce! We will still share something on March 31st, but look forward to the new date.

Come to the official The Sims 3 Facebook’s fan page to hear about our big surprise! Trust us, it’s something BIG and you’ll definitely want to be here to be one of the first to hear the news. Any ideas what it might be?

I guess one thing will be a new expansion pack. Or could they announce two? Well, we already know there will be Generations and Pets.

Also, The Sims Medieval has already hit the shelves. Lucky you who got it, I don’t have money for it right now. However, I found some pretty cool pictures and unboxing photos to make me drool.

On another note, I’m collecting the “vintage” Sims games right now. I already bought The Sims 1 few months ago. Today I bought Vacation and Unleased — all in the original “big” boxes. Actually, the seller from eBay was selling more Sims games in one pack: The Sims Life Stories (which I never played, yay! — fully boxed), Living Large (unboxed), The Sims Deluxe (unboxed) and there was also Vacation prima game guide (plus Vacation and Unleased EPs, as I mentioned). All for 25 bucks with shipping (plus shipping to Slovakia, since I need to ship that from USA, but it won’t be more than 15 bucks anyways). That’s a great deal, isn’t it? I will still buy the other games with original boxes from someone else. Hopefully next month when I have more money. But I’m still happy with this!

Special birthday party tonight! Where? In you bedroom, studyroom, anywhere on your computer with your Sims, of course! Today are The Sims games 11 years old. Can You believe it? Neither can I. Especially the fact that I’ve been playing this game more than a half of my life. It’s scary, but it’s still so much fun.

So happy 11th birthday, Simmies!

I really hope to attened a session like this at least once in my life. Tons of Plumbobs, The Sims M&Ms, green cupcakes and Plumbob headbeands. Sounds like fun, right? I really wouldn’t mind if the celebrities didn’t come. Yeah, how about a meeting for Sim fans? Would you attend one? Once I move from this country for good, I’ll sure arrange a meeting for us all. That could be a lot of fun, what do you think?

I’m not usually into sentimental Sims music videos, but this one is made really good, so I thought I’d share.

I think I know what I’ll be eating for dinner today.

I found this article via InfiniteSims about the Sims community and its players. It’s fun to read about ourselves in a more detached way, although I think you know most of the story already. The article was interesting to read anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy it, too.

Which is not to say that Simmers in aggregate are actually, GENUINELY ‘nicer’… there’s as much backbiting and territoriality and infighting and drama as you find anywhere online… but amidst all of that, you see plenty of evidence of people orienting to a ‘niceness norm’.”

I broke down my toaser like a month ago and now I see it might happen for a reason. The toasts from my old toaster were kind of boring. It made toasts. Yeah, just ordinary toasts. I thought that toasts were always boring but then I found this: the Sims 3 toaster! Isn’t it just awesome? 

You want one for sure, right? Sorry, they’re not for sale. I was also not happy to find this. After all, my old toaster is broken and I still need a new one and this one would be just perfect! I can dream on. And be jealous of these folks in Germany where they ate The Sims 3 toasts.

Hint for EA Games: Release this toaster in your store and you’ll get rich. Hint for my readers: Visit my site much more, let me go kudos and maybe EA Games will invite me to their event – and I’ll be able to eat these delicious, oh so delicious, toasts. Don’t worry, I’d send you the bread-crumbs!
