Spring4Sims – The Best Finds, Downloads & Hints for Your Sims

I’ve always loved their videos! It’s so amazing how good only Maxis content can look in the game.

Just as always, this is another great issue worth your attention! I enjoyed article about photographing, stripes, I found a great new site BYHSD. And I truly love this garden house. Oh, and let’s not forget about some nice storage. And a great interview with Malle. (There’s a special gift, too, don’t miss it!)

Now I feel like I need to book one whole day for downloading new stuff. Yeah, that happens to me a lot.

BTW I’ve been redecorating the house of the Wollfs, I hope to finish it sometimes soon and post some pictures. I think I’m still far from being done with that huge house, but so far I like it. It’s big and modern, but somehow I managed to keep it cozy… But this is definitely what the house lacks. *sigh*

I have already mentioned one Alexandre’s video here at S4S, now he’s asked me to mention his latest creation: Bad Romance music video made in The Sims 2. As I’ve already said, I’m not a huge fan of Lady Gaga, but I have to admit that Bad Romance has really grown on me.

After two months or more work on this is my video of Bad Romance. Each scene is thought to detail closely. I’m really proud of this video. I made accessories, objects, poses and more.

Now look at the The Sims 2 version, it’s really fantastic!

This message is mostly to creators: if you have updated with new downloads and I haven’t noticed that, please, let me know. I’m not checking site updates that much these days and those sites that don’t have any RSS feeds are getting really neglected by me. I’m really sorry for that, but the university has stared again and I have so much work right now (I mean real work).

In case you found out that I don’t do as much as updates for your site as you might wish for, let me know about them! I don’t check my mailbox very often, so it’s best if you let me know in the comments, just leave one in any article you can find. It’s the best and the quickest way for me to get it noticed.

This is a totally off-topic post, so it doesn’t have anything to do with The Sims. I need to ask you guys (since I’m not a native English speaker) what mave leather is. I’m particularly curious about the word mave, because I can’t find anything that would explain what kind of leather it is.

I bought a jacket, I even found it on Amazon.de, it should be made of genuine leather, because the label on it says it’s a pig leather and there were a few other labels saying it’s a leather jacket (no faux leather or anything like that). And it also wasn’t exactly cheap so it would better be one, haha.

But then I came home and my mum and now also my brother have started telling me that it’s not a genuine leather. It really freaked me out, because I don’t want a faux leather jacket (and definitely not for that money). It doesn’t really smell like leather, that’s right. But all those labels are saying it is genuine leather, it’s also a good brand (ONLY) and even Amazon claims it’s a schweinsleder (pig leather).

No idea what mave leather is, though. So I’m slightly confused. (Especially when somebody keeps telling you that you bought a fauxleather jacket and you wanted real leather jacket, gosh). Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Wow, I’m so overwhelmed by the number of new fresh downloads I’ve just discovered. I have enough to cover the whole week, but they’re so fabulous you’ll have to stop by every single day. It’s also quite good for me, too, because UNI has stared again (bleh) and I’m away at least three days of the week from 7 AM to 20 PM. Pre-scheduling is my best friend again. Anyways, you can expect quite a lot this week. For both TS2 and TS3. I try to make the finds balaced, I hope you like that. Have a great weekend, sweethearts!
