Spring4Sims – The Best Finds, Downloads & Hints for Your Sims

I’m in a need for few answers that some of you might know. I’m playing for the Wollfs now and Thornton is in the business career. I made him to become a partner of the business building in the center of Sunset Valley. The thing is I’ve never figured out one thing: how do a Sim who is already a partner of some building make other Sims to become partners? (Duh, I can’t explain what I mean clearly, I hope you know what I mean.) Even when the game is loading there is a tip saying that Sims can earn more money if they find new partners (but they should chose wisely, because some like to slack.) So, any ideas?

Another thing that’s bothering me is that I have no idea how to invite friends to come  to a trip with my Sims. When I use the phone, I can always just take other family members with me, but no friends. At first I thought they needed to be best friends or good friends, but it doesn’t seem to work, either. This option was in TS2 and I think even in TS1, so I suppose I’m looking at the wrong place or something.

Oh and I wanted to ask you about traits for Sims in the Sunset Valley since they lost them when I updated the game with one of the latest patches (and it’s so annoying! Sims with no traits, it makes no sense…). I found a site where all Sims in Sunset Valley are listed, so now I can add their traits with cheats again. It’s going to take a while, but it’s better than nothing… Just in case you were interested.

The fact that I’m having holidays right now and I’m not playing Sims has beed just too hard to resist and so I’ve decided to find some time to install the game. Well, I’m still happy to say that I’m actually playing the game right now and that I’ve even downloaded some nice custom content, but there’s one big BUT. What’s that? See the picture.

This has never happended to me before. Never. I know that my graphics card is old and stuff, but I used to have all EPs and SPs installed but no stripy Sims ever. Well, it’s not that bad, maybe just a little irritating. The strips appear from time to time and blink only on my Sims. I guess my Sims are just doomed. Reminds me I really need a new comuter.

The Bug Box is really bugging me. I can’t seem to find the last beetle/butterfly/spider and it’s getting quite irritating. Have you found it yet? I (my PlantSim actually) have been looking for it for hours but no such luck. The Bug Box is full (take a close look at my pictures – there seems to be an empty space but the actually is a small spider, it’s just not very visible) but the Game Encyclopedia says something special should happen to it when the collection is complete. EDIT: I found out that the last bug “Socialus Butterfly” can not be found because it’s a bug that comes with Free Time. (*sighs and looks angrily at Maxis*) It should be fixed with the newest patch but I still haven’t had time to collect all bugs and to see what happens with the Bug Box after all of them are collected. Hopefully I’ll show you soon.
