Spring4Sims – The Best Finds, Downloads & Hints for Your Sims

We have some new drama in our community: the boycott of The Sims 3.

So, apparently some folks have become full of the glitches in The Sims 3 and have decided to boycott the game. They won’t buy any expansion packs or stuff packs, they won’t support the game in any way and they want EA Games to act–now! They also encourage others to write a few nice words to EA Games about how their games are full of crap.

Honestly, I get the point but it seems somewhat meaningless to me. Don’t get me wrong, I get a lot of bugs, too, but I don’t think that this kind of attitude will change something–if anything–for better.

As for me, I’m not joining. Are you?

My dearest The Sims 2 players, I have some great news for you! One of my favorite sites Femme Fatale, which makes a lot of nice designer clothes and accessories, is preparing a big surprise for you starting December 1st.

While LivingSims focuses on the design and life aspect of the Sims games, LS Extra will focus on the more technical side of the games. We will mainly focus on tutorials, how-to articles and design guides.

This is a great addition to the original magazine. I love how much work these guys put into this.

Living Sims is one of my favorite (in fact the most favorite) magazine and although I’m not an active member at their formus, I still think that this is the site worth donating because these guys put so much work into the magazine and they simply make the community breath with inspiration!

I don’t usually donate, but I’ve decided to do so this time. Even though my donation was small, I believe it was helpful–and so can be yours. Donating is, of course, optional, but if you consider donating, I think even the smallest amount of money can be a huge help.

We still have a little left from your generous donations last year, but nowhere near enough. So we ask you for help. We need to raise between $300-$600 $ (200-400€/180-350£) in order to have our site hosted for one year on the new server. We will start out with the cheaper service they offer there but we might need to upgrade due to our busy forum. We also have other expenses during the year.
