Spring4Sims – The Best Finds, Downloads & Hints for Your Sims

Wow, I’m so overwhelmed by the number of new fresh downloads I’ve just discovered. I have enough to cover the whole week, but they’re so fabulous you’ll have to stop by every single day. It’s also quite good for me, too, because UNI has stared again (bleh) and I’m away at least three days of the week from 7 AM to 20 PM. Pre-scheduling is my best friend again. Anyways, you can expect quite a lot this week. For both TS2 and TS3. I try to make the finds balaced, I hope you like that. Have a great weekend, sweethearts!

Lately I’ve been having this love-hate relationship with Spring4Sims. And that’s been for a few reasons: while I always intended the site to be a site for TS2, ever since TS3 came out, it’s been getting harder and harder to find stuff for TS2.

A lot of people, including me, started playing the new game more than the “older” one, but there are also people who play both at the same time. And because I also used my own site as a source for downloads that I personally prefer, I’ve decided it would be okay to start making finds also for TS3 files.

In fact, I wanted to do that a long time ago. But I couldn’t really find a good way to categorize the new finds. Then I thought I might make a new site only for TS3 find. But honestly, I have enough managing one site, I don’t need another one to take care of and pay more money for hosting.

Hey guys, I hope you’re having a swell time this Christmas season and I hope you’ll have wonderful Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Unfortunatelly, I’ve been feeling pretty overworked past few months and I think it’s time to me to take a few days off from everying, because things have started going over my head. That means no updates for a few days, but remember there are more than 5,000 posts at S4S so take a look at the archives and I’m sure you’ll find something great.

One of the traits I’m really happy to have is probably self-control. And patience. My game arrived today and I’m so happy! It’s been such a bad day today, I had an exam from myths and ancient epics (Iliad, Oddysey, Metamorphoses, the founding of Rome, plus a few Roman emperors and many more) and it went terribly wrong. I wonder if I passed, probably not.

The good news is that my game arrived. The bad news is that I have two more days of exams, so I’ve decided just to stare at it for next two days, so I wouldn’t feel guilty about not studying. But you can bet I can’t wait to put in my DVD-drive! I think most people were pretty positive about World Adventures and I think I’ll like it, too.

Oh, I wish it was Thursday already.

Just to make a small explanation (mostly to artists, I guess): I’m in a time pressure these days and it won’t go away until next Thursday, because I have exams and quite a lot of work.

So, the comments for downloads will be really short, if there will be some at all. I know that you won’t miss my pointless comments, but maybe artists do appreciate my praise. So don’t feel neglected if there’s nothing like that for some time now. Thanks!

Apart from finding time (= not feeling tired) to make finds, I’m finding it very difficult to actually find something new. There are tons of The Sims 2 sites, but only very few of them update regularly now.

Yesterday I realized I had no updates for you a little too late, so I went to sleep instead and did the finds in the morning when I felt a bit fresher. Hope you enjoy double-updates today.

I woke up at 6:30 AM today, got ready and when I was on the bus with my friend, I just couldn’t figure out whether I did or did not the updates yesterday. Now I know I didn’t, the strange thing is that I couldn’t decide whether I did them yesterday or it was just the day before.

This is not an apology because I didn’t do the updates, I just felt like spreading a word or two about my bad sleeping habits. Or rather a very full working schedule, which makes me sleep 5-6 hours a day at max. This week was rather terrible at this point and I hope to get some proper sleep today. Also, I hope this not to happen again, not because it would make me feel guilty (we all need to get some rest), but because of that very strange feeling I was having all day today.

It’s really not good when you feel like you’re losing your mind, lol.

Now that was quick! The site that was mirroring my posts is down. Yes, really. I wouldn’t notice if TiaLee didn’t let me know in the comments, though.

Well, I knew it wouldn’t last too long anyway, but it was much quicker than I expected. See? Bad things go away quickly. And you don’t even need to push things. Isn’t it funny how some things in the world work out?
