Spring4Sims – The Best Finds, Downloads & Hints for Your Sims

Removing the mummy’s curse is probably the most impressing thing in World Adventures, don’t you think? Poor Morgana, not only she got cursed by a mummy, but you can see she’s been burned by one of the floor traps. She was serious when she wanted to go treasure hunting, wasn’t she?

Because it’s Valentine’s Day, I’m going to share a few pictures that I’ve taken in my game a long time ago. I made something in my game that might seem almost impossible: found a partner for both Claire Ursine and Cycl0ne Sw0rd–by simply getting them together! I believe they’re the two most annoying Sims in Sunset Valley, although I have to admit Claire’s got a little cuter when she lost some of her weight. Somehow together they create a nice couple though.

So what do you think, are they a good match? Also, are you celebrating Valentine’s Day this year? Me and my boyfriend never do, so I wanted us to have some chocolate fondue for change, but it didn’t work out because he’s a little sick. Well, maybe next time. Hope you guys have a good one, though.

Do your Sims do this too?

Holly Alto (now Jacquet): “OMG, a head of garlic. Like my husband likes to say: c’est très magnifique! I’m so going to eat it right now!”

And that stare on her face. My Sims never fail to amaze me.

I’m so proud of the new bedroom I’ve made for Wolff’s. Well, it’s not really new–I was redecorating their house quite a few weeks ago, but it finally doesn’t look empty. I was inspired by Morgana’s adventures in Egypt. That’s why I used objects such as the pushable statue, big palm tree, maps on the wall and the Eyes of Horus. Some objects truly accentuate the Wolff’s luxury lifestyle. Pearls, emerald cut pink diamond and the bottle of champagne are there to show their wealth.

The walls are painted in moss shade of green which makes the room appear a lot smaller or perhaps a lot cozier. In this case it’s a good thing, because the bedroom is very large. Sofa and curtains tone down some of the more colorful decorations. They also create the perfect balance between the dark furniture and walls.

I really love that EA featured the NYAN CAT on one of the paintings.

Hey guys, how are you? I hope you’re all well and finally enjoying the Holiday Season. I’m so excited it’s December again. I already have all the Christmas presents so for me it’s all about baking now–or at least I hope I’ll be baking a lot this year.

Otherwise, I’m quite busy. I’m working hard on my novel almost every day and write on my other blogs. Recently there’s so much new custom content for The Sims that I almost can’t keep up with it. My selections are really aiming at the best stuff right now, so I hope you all enjoy. Also, I’m sorry about those bad tags whether it’s for The Sims 2 or The Sims 3. I’m doing the updates usually at night when I’m pretty tired and that just happens sometimes…

My game is not working again. I’m sure you remember that it was lagging really bad. Well, when I solved that, it has started to crash. It happens about every 30 minutes, which is not that bad, but I also have trouble with saving. I almost always get Error 12 and the game can’t be saved (even as a new world). Honestly, I don’t know what to do. Reinstall? Again? It’s depressing. I was so excited for Pets, but I only created one cat in the game and that’s all I’ve tried so far.

So right now I’m taking some rest from Simming. It might be for the best, though–I really need to finish revising my novel. Maybe when I have more time during the Holidays, I will reinstall.

P.S.: I tried it with no custom content and yes, it still crashes. I’m playing Sunset Valley, not Appalosa Plains (I haven’t even tried that world), and I have the world maps updated.

They’re such a beautiful couple! I really love them. I took these pictures right after I got Generations, which is a long time ago, but I meant to post them because they just make me warm inside.

Agyness Crumplebottom is one scary Sim to many. Especially when she tells the ghost stories after dark, but now she has a good reason and it’s not because she’s just scary, but because she has someone to tell them to.

She wanted to live a new life after the death of her husband, but it was nearly impossible until she finally decided to bring him back.

She joined the investigator career with a lot of taunting from her friends. How could she even imagine doing such a job? She’s been home all these years, alone and with nothing better to do than watching the sun fall down behind the ocean from the terrace of her mid-century house.

I knew it! Something just had to go wrong after I installed the Pets demo. My game won’t run. It worked for a while, but now it’s broken and I’m so angry with EA for not doing their homework well. It seems like I’ll need to reinstall again. Oh shoot.

The error appears when I run the launcher: “There was an error during start up. Please see log for more details”

UPDATE: Okay, I’m glad I didn’t totally fret this time and used my head and actually googled this error. Here you’ll find the solution. You will only need to delete three catche files.

Phew! Off to Sim now.
