So, here are my Sims, Gilbert & Denise Jacquet, as previously seen in The Sims 2 Open for Business. I didn’t make them exacly the same, although I tried to keep their main features. However, I made them more elegant and French. They’re wearing nicer clothes, their hairstyles look better etc. I liked Gilbert in TS2 with longer hair and strong stubble, I think he looks much more masculine this way. His bigger nose and low chin are still the same, though (or as similar as the scroll bars allowed me to edit his facial parts in CAS).

Denise is packed with blue sweather, white pearls and black skirt, the outfit above is her formal attire. I think I prefer red on her, though, she looks much better wearing it as it embraces the strong red lipstic (ne c’est pas très chic?)

I hope you’ll have as much as fun with them as I do. Please, do not claim them as your own and don’t kill them in the game. They certainly don’t deserve it.

These Sims may require World Adventures, but I think they should work with base game, too (perhaps some outfits won’t show up, I donno, let me know if there’s a problem.)

Don’t you just love these paintings? I think this mesh by Maxis is one of the most favorite ones, so it’s no wonder people create some great recolors for it. I’m sure these have cought your eyes as well.

There are some nice eyes by Anna today. As the title says, they look realistic and in my opinion, really fab! Love the black shade the most.

As the title says, it’s a small café with nice landscaping. Inside, there’s a small shop with cakes. It looks really cozy in there, just download it and take a look.

Just like I promised you, I bring you a new download and that is a lot created by my dear friend, Charlie. (Sorry for the delay!) Actually, these are apartments with nice big pool and landscaping. I didn’t have too much time to play the game, but as much as I checked these apartments out, they’re really great.

Some of you probably remember Circle’s Sim-Art I’ve mentioned in my older posts. She’s incredible talented and draws beautiful paintings!

Anyway, I wanted these to be available for my Sims in the game, too. So I downloaded all Circle’s paintings and resized them and here are her three paintings I’ve resized in two different styles – closeup and the actual size of Perpetual Downpour and Lovesmenot.

:love: So, how do these pictures work?
They work as custom paintings, so your Sims can paint them in the game. Just get them an easel and choose Paint Custom Painting… option from the cake bar.

:love: How to install these pictures?
Extract the files from the .zip and put them in C:\Documents and Settings\Your Profile\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Paintings folder. That’s all!

:love: What expansion packs are required?
You need any of these expansion packs make the custom paintings work: Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage.

I’ve also made some walls with pink/lime/lemon colors that you can either match with the new Light Pink tiles, or with the original tiles by Maxis (see last three pictures). I think the colors turned out pretty well and I like using the tiles in community lots (see the first two pictures), too.

Compatibility

I have all expansions and stuff packs so far, but I’ve only used objects from Open for Business, IKEA Home Stuff and Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff. According to MTS2, you will need all expansion packs except University and from Stuff packs, you’ll need IKEA Home Stuff and Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff. If you’d have any problems, let me know so I can the description.

I didn’t use any custom content except the hidden lamps from IKEA Home Stuff, which you can download from MATY (no registration needed).
