Spring4Sims – The Best Finds, Downloads & Hints for Your Sims

1. This is my first video whatsoever in my life, so I’m kind of excited and terrified at the same time.
2. Sorry for the overuse of word “cute”. (And my English is not that good, but it’s nothing to be ashamed of, right?)

Ready for Showtime? Yes, please! You guys from the USA probably already have it, but the game comes out tomorrow in the UK. However, Amazon has already started sending the games to those who pre-ordered. My Collector’s Edition is on the way now–and so is my updated computer! I should have it back by the end of the week. I hope everything is going to work out fine. Wish me luck and happy Simming!

I really like the new social features. I was worried they would push everything just to Facebook or Twitter, but it’s pretty cool that you can actually share statuses with your friends on your The Sims 3 Page. I have literary no friends on Facebook who play The Sims so spamming them with statuses my game would be a total drag. As for Twitter, I don’t talk about Sims there a lot either, only occassionaly when something interesting pops up. But those who don’t like the new social features should remember that you can turn this option off. It’s that simple.

This special collector’s edition with The Sims in-ear headphones will only be available in Carrefour France. No words on whether other countries will get these, too. But there’s one Carrefour very close to my office, so I might try to see if it gets sold here… although I highly doubt it.

I really love the first fruit dress! I wish they played with the sparkles a little bit more, but it’s okay. The silver dress is a total disaster, though. I’m even thinking that MTV must have mistaken it for some other dress. If, however, it’s the original inspiration, EA could’ve done much better work. What do you think, do you like the outfits?

One Collector’s Edition for The Sims 3 Showtime is not enough so EA Games has teamed up with Katy Perry and made another exclusive edition that includes a Katy Perry poster (I hope she’s a Sim), new themed outfits and stage props.

I have to say I like Katy Perry as long as she’s smiling on the red carpet but keeps her mouth shut… (okay, I do have her latest album in iTunes but I only like a few songs and I only listen to them when I work out okay except Teenage Dreem which I really like).

The new edition is now available for pre-order via Amazon US($50.00), Amazon UK(£34.99) and Origin ($50.00).

So, which edition do you get? The regular collector’s or the Katy Perry’s collector’s edition? I also have a question. Does anyone know if these two editions are available only for pre-sale, or will they be available even after the release?

The rumors are spreading again. The next expansion pack is to be called Showtime, but nothing is official yet. New video has been leaked, too, but it seems to be fake. Personally, I believe it’s fake, because I don’t think EA Games would use any real live performances like this… 

Showtime has already been mentioned at various retailers’ lists. Sims VIP mentions them here, here and here.

I have to say I’m excited for the next EP. I’ve never really had a good chance to play The Sims Superstar but I know how popular it was. Seems like this could be the next Superstar. What do you think?
