OMG! This poster is so surprising! In fact, it took me a few seconds to figure out who’s in the picture (because I didn’t get the title right at first… there are still certain phrases and slang words that don’t make sense to me when I first see or hear them and when I saw ‘Flo’ I tried to make some sense behing it) and then I finally figured it was Florance, the florist from Bluewater Village.

She’s always been one of my fav Maxis Sims, because she always seemed like a perfectly old-fashioned lady who will never get married and will have at least 10 cats when she gets older. The surprising part is, of course, that she’s nude. Oh, you naughty Florance! Who would have said that?

(If somebody wonders whether other Sims ever contributed in such naughty campains, I know one. But you can’t blame Gilbert but me [oh naughty Hannah!]; well, I’m glad I’m not the only naughty person in the community. )

Helena’s Woohoo Drumkit by strange_tomato

Now this is a hell of a good recolor! Thumbs up, strange_tomato!

Though drummers sit in the back, Helena isn’t one to fade into the background. With its purple stained wood veneer and bold woohoo image, this is a drumkit that commands attention. All eyes are on Helena, which is just the way she likes it.

This is such a handy download! Sunni Sims has made an invisible recolor for the Medicine Cabinet Mirror. This means that you can use move_objects on cheat and then place another mirror over it, while using special interactions with Medicine Cabinet Mirror. So cool!

Curved Stone Path Maxis Match & Lupin Plant Recolors by Sim_Me (MTS)

The creator at MTS was a bit annoyed with two objects by Maxis: the first was The Stones of Stepping from Family Fun Stuff, which can be place outside. However, the outer stones were sligtly smaller and it didn’t look very good (so they’re bigger now). Also, The Shrubby Lupin from Mansion & Garden Stuff comes now in a natural green recolor.

AL Socialite Build Items in Maxis-Match Woods by amythestfenix (MTS)

Apartment life windows are one of my favorite, so why not to have them in some more wood colors?

Doors come in two types- bronze metal accents and pewter metal accents. Windows only needed one type as I don’t feel the need for matching hinges (they are all steel). I also did the Ornate Cornice piece- that curvy ornamental bracket that matches the sides of the windows.

Wood textures are something I blame for EA Games a lot in TS2. They just had to make different textures for every kind of furniture, so they would never match anything. Thanks to Sims Crossing, we have some new wood recolors of Season’s kitchen set in medium/dark wood.

Recently I’ve needed some nice furniture for my bedroom for a good price and IKEA really did a great job for me. Oh, and have I said I love Sweden? Your Sims should thank Swedes for inventing such great things as IKEA (and they did actually much more–like seatbelts, vacuum cleaners or even the design of original Coca-Cola glass bottle). And then Piggi’s Sims for making wonderful recolors like these.
