First is a little set of recolors of this really cute quite old chair by Aroundthesims & of this nice new table by Garden Breeze that I really adore. Omer’s latest set comes with awesome bird recolors of pillows. My apologies for him (and you, of course, too) for not putting his stuff here for so long. Unfortunatelly, his pictures give me a hard time and then I’m too lazy to get them from my mailbox… I promise to get better.

Owls are so popular these days, you can see them everywhere, now even on the pillows by limelove. Maybe clever is the new sexy, huh? (Since owls are the personification of clever. Blame Athena for that.)

What a lovely set with some little retro feeling. The pattern on the sofa reminds me of my grandmas’ pillows bought sometimes in late 60’s, they looked almost the same.

I love to see that so many creators are using this painting mesh (cloned from Bon Voyage, included), because it’s just so nice! Malle brings 15 new recolors of it. They look pretty cute, I like the city/houses recolor–I used to paint houses like these when I was a kid.

Greek culture seems to be hunting me down also in the Sims — since university and books that just arrived today don’t seem to be enough. But don’t you think these paintings are just lovely? When you think about it, it’s funny that we spend most our days counting down days. Right now, I’m counting down the days until Christmas, till my money will get on my credit card, till new episode of Big Bang Theory will be released… I could go on and on, I suddenly realize there’s so much going on. Not sure if this small room made of various recolors will give your Sims some peace to lay down and think, but I think I would appreciate one like this right now.

Malle from limelove has made a new set of recolors. As usual, it’s adorable and full of nice patterns that add the finishing touch to any room. Oh, and meshes seem to be included.

The set contains the endtable recolor, the pictures on Aikeas wall writing mesh and 5 recolors of Mangos pillow mesh. The set [not pictured] contains 2 recolors of Miras frame+books, 3 recolors of Billyjeans various photos and 3 of the round little picture (note that the latter is actually a mirror).

Paisley can never go wrong with nice patterns and eclectic style.

So this set has some of the patterns that I have. I am a bookworm, and I love just sitting in just one corner and read, ipod on Bose dock with badly drawn boy and other nostalgic music playing, and this room is just perfect for that. All meshes are included by the way.

I’m starting to think that mesh creators are — after all the great work they do in the 3D programs — a little tired of making nice textures. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of good textures from their original creators, but creators who create only textures can make them so right! This set includes more than just pictured above has most of the meshes included.

I truly love love love sets like this one. Kind of vintage, old-looking but fascinatingly modern at the same time.

Pretty much everything you see on the table is a recolor, but if you want specifics: book bag, magazine stack, notebook, tissue box, and cushion on the chair. Meshes not included, get them here.

Holiday time is download time–that’s what’s limelove saynig. Oh, which holidays are supposted to be now? I’m pretty far from any now. But I worry not, after hard work, we all have holidays. Speaking of which, they’re best spent in a comfortable chair with books. (Yes, my shippment from Amazon has arrived! ) The next time you play Sims, think about this. You have a great chance to bring them nice cozy furniture from limelove, which is always worth it. So give them some comfort. Or just think of me and imagine how good I would feel. It’s great to know that there are some nice friendships around the community. If Omer didn’t know Malle, this set would probably not exist. Isn’t that scary? Oh yes my happy downloaders and Sim-addicts, it is. And BTW, I love that owl clock.

Even though summer is past, sim kids can still splash in this small pool on warm afternoons on the porch. And it’s much safer than a swiimming pool, too. So here are a few recolours for Echo’s wonderful improved kiddie splash pool.

There are new recolors of some Open for Business meshes at Piggi’s Sims. Used to love them, hope you do, too. There are also many new rugs to download.

It’s my bad that I haven’t noticed Omer’s latest update. I blame him for making that long long post about how his Summer was, which I really enjoyed. So, I didn’t notice the new “study” room recolors–some are based on Maxis’ and some on custom meshes (all included).
